Our philosophy
Life moves quickly. The environment in which we surround ourselves should breathe easy, and we strive to create spaces that do just that, with a relaxed atmosphere and effective usability. They should have a story to them, a lived in feeling... Soul!
Hand crafted elements and found / natural materials help to harmonise, and we take pleasure in sourcing beautiful pieces ~ finds from markets, little tucked-away shops or from far-away places.
Our work
STRATHMORE, CAMPS BAYOriginally designed as a minimalist contemporary home, the new owners were keen to introduce a more relaxed Ibiza feel. A neutral palette that had to incorporate a few of the owners’ own pieces set us into sourcing soft woods, neutral fabrics and typical African grasses to create a calming atmosphere, with contrasting texture and tactile sensations throughout.
We sought out the play of light on softly textured walls ~ adding subtle dynamism without distracting from the beautiful views.

Aged Indian doors and the odd tree fern added an almost spiritual space at the back of the home, while carefully selected furnishings and lined up Mokoros added to the feel.Below, a gallery showing a few more shots of the property.

Our story
Kundra and Marianne, both seasoned creatives, met while working in the magazines industry, honing their eye for detail and mastering the art of working to brief and tight deadlines. After years of styling, art direction on set and producing countless editorial pages, the transition to interiors felt natural.With extensive experience in photographic shoots and travels spanning Malawi, Mauritius, and New York, their migration to décor was seamless. When an architect approached them to manage a challenging brief for an Austrian client, they embraced the opportunity—leading to numerous projects with both local and international clients. And so, With Soul was born.
Kundra, owner of The Moroccan Warehouse, draws inspiration from her travels, infusing her work with natural textures... but there's always a bit of colour and interesting exotic prints / patterns:
My style and décor are shaped by my travels, but Morocco has been my greatest inspiration. The fusion of Moroccan, Indian, and Indonesian textures creates something truly unique and captivating.
Marianne’s passion for interiors was shaped by her Dutch mother, who instilled in her a love for art, culture, and the transformative power of design. Before joining Associated Magazines, she trained with a Cape Town-based interior designer and has since bought, renovated, and sold multiple homes over two decades. She finds beauty in restoration and the unique patina that time bestows upon well-sourced pieces—a key element of With Soul’s design ethos.As true Capetonians, they know exactly where to find those hidden gems that make a space truly special.
